About Us
RYEH was founded by passionate refugee youth in Dadaab with a vision to bridge the education gap in marginalized communities. Through initiatives like the Dadaab Book Drive, which built a library of over 60,000 books, we provide access to knowledge and learning opportunities even in times of crisis.
We believe that education is the most powerful tool to unlock potential and drive long-term community development.
Our Story
What started as a small initiative by refugee youth has grown into a powerful movement for change. For years, RYEH has been mobilizing support, resources, and ideas to improve access to education in Garissa County and beyond.
From launching community libraries to fighting misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic through radio programs, our journey is rooted in resilience and impact.
